Cruel experience. The baked potato was raw. The bread from the burger was old, so rock-hard, dry and crumbly. In addition, the food was cold. We had it returned twice. There was no sugar with the tea. After every time I asked there was only one sachet of sugar. So we would have to ask three times 🤣. The Cambert was from Aldi from the chest. The staff extremely unfriendly. Never again 🤮

We actually wanted to eat well-made burgers in a burger restaurant. But looking at the menu, we were speechless. The price range ranged from a simple burger (€ 13.20) to the most expensive burger ebb and flow (€ 19.20). But to offer the latter with cheap crayfish even though the crabs are caught in front of the door is bold. The Speicher café and restaurant is located at the tranquil museum harbor in Carolienensiel. It has a few outdoor spaces, some in beach chairs, which are separated from the restaurant by the promenade. We had reserved in advance and got a seat in the restaurant - probably the better choice given the temperatures now prevailing in the early evening. The interior is furnished in a maritime style, but its pictures on the wall also remind you a little of a hard rock café. The sound reinforcement was corresponding, but the volume was very subtle. However, the space available is quite clear. The laminated menu (1 sheet of DIN A5) and a QR code for corona registration can be found on the table. Since we had already registered in this way in another restaurant the day before, our details were already filled in and we could check in straight away. The drinks menu can only be found on the restaurant's website. One or the other “offer of the day” can be found on various boards that are distributed in the guest room. Since there was no Aperol on the drinks menu, I opted for the self-brewed craft beer “Anthons Pilsener” (€ 3.8), which is only available there as 0.3l. I'm not really a beer connoisseur now, but I think you can drink it and would prefer it to the RadeBitSteiner beers of the world at any time. As a meal I chose the “Speicher Burger” (16.2 €). In return you get 180g of beef, bacon, cheddar, onions, tomatoes, BBQ sauce and french fries or wedges. The tomatoes are not placed on the burger here, but next to it. The pattie was quite finely ground and well done. The bun was of good quality and didn't soak straight away. For my taste it could have been a little more BBQ sauce, but you could taste it with every bite. The onions were cut a bit smaller here and seemed to be part of the sauce. Overall very tasty and recommendable. I ordered mayo (€ 0.4) for the fries. However, it doesn't seem to be homemade here, as white as it was, it has never seen an egg yolk. I forgot to ask. Service was friendly, drinks and food were served quickly. So you are trimmed for throughput here. The final payment can be made here in cash or with an EC card - the EC card has also been working with Apple Pay for a few days. And so here too ... we are happy to award good 4 stars ...

It was just great, the food was plentiful and very tasty, a cozy atmosphere, whether you were sitting inside or outside, plenty of food and drink options, the service on the ball, always in a good mood and courteous. Highly recommended, we'll be back in November and are already looking forward to it.

We were in the store on Monday late afternoon. Beautiful location with a view of the harbor, nice atmosphere. Both meals (burger and schnitzel) were tasty and the portions were large. We were served very friendly, politely and attentively by a young colleague who obviously enjoyed her job. Although there was plenty to do, she was always in a good mood and despite the mask, a smile could always be seen. It's a shame that we were only passing through, otherwise we would have liked to come again.

Too bad restaurant was full. Nan told us to wait a moment. After 20 minutes we were still there and nobody cared about us. After 30 minutes suddenly a couple came and immediately got a table. Then a table became free , but of course not for us, that’s not how you deal with customers, after which we left and will definitely never come back

Nice cozy place. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour and a half for our food. After ordering drinks, we had to constantly fight for attention. Ask the menu, order the food and wait 45 minutes for the meal. But the food was very tasty 😋

We were eating in the store yesterday for the first time. The staff was very friendly and fast. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. There was a huge portion, so we could not do anything. We also did not have to wait long for the food. We would definitely recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back.

Very nice to sit here, right on the harbor. The view dreamlike. Seated twice outside, unfortunately very little seats outside, like the gulls you have to lie in wait if you want to sit outside. Staff almost all very nice, nice and helpful. Altbierbowle with strawberries very delicious, the hamburger and Currywurst delicious and really good portions. Food is good, but not outstanding. The coffee was very good. The server very friendly. You can sit here nicely overlooking the harbor.

What should one say big to the store. It is right on the harbor with possibilities to sit inside and out. The wait staff are friendly and courteous by the bank. Whether you want to eat something delicious or just want to drink something. Here you are in any case right reserved.
